HR Specialist

What We’re Looking For…
Shell Point Retirement Community is currently seeking a full-time HR Specialist. This role plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department, overseeing a wide range of responsibilities such as leave administration, new employee orientation, onboarding, training, reemployment claims,  policy compliance, and will cross-train to assist and cover in all functional HR areas as needed. This position partners with department managers and staff to foster employee engagement through internal events and programs, while promoting a positive work environment that aligns with Shell Point’s mission and core beliefs. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate heart for people, a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, a strong understanding of HR policies and legal requirements, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and at least 2 years of HR experience are preferred. Expertise in leave administration is a plus.
