Second Assistant Golf Professional

What We’re Looking For…
 
Currently, we are seeking a full-time Second Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day business of the golf operation by helping with our leagues, checking players in, assisting with a busy counter operation, and guiding residents, members, and guest through the Shell Point Golf Club. This individual will also assist with the supervision of the Golf Shop staff, starters/rangers and range/cart attendants (in the absence of both the Director of Golf and 1st Assistant) and will ensure that the operation is efficient and adhering to all Shell Point standards. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of golf course management and operation practices including concessions, equipment merchandising, and golf course maintenance along with knowledge of standard golf terminology and etiquette. Previous experience in a golf course environment strongly preferred.
