Licensed Clinical Social Worker

What We’re Looking For…
We have an opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team! He/she will provide clinical social work services to residents of Shell Point Retirement Community, support residents across the continuum of care from independent living to assisted living and skilled nursing care. He/she will also collaborate with family members, primary care providers and other members of interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate and comprehensive services.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
  • Active Florida LCSW license
  • Experience with geriatric population is strongly preferred
  • Sincere interest and concern for the well-being of aging individuals
  • Experience with dementia, behavioral assessments and behavior management strategies
  • Experience with crisis intervention, Baker Act procedures
  • Experience with team care plans
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills delivered in a professional, collaborative and positive manner
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate patience, compassion and empathy
  • Masters of Social Work degree required
  • Active Florida LCSW license
  • At least 2 years of behavioral health experience and 1 year of direct patient therapy required
  • Experience with geriatric population is strongly preferred
  • Experience with EMR preferred
