Are you a strategic and relationship-driven nonprofit leader with a heart for legacy and impact? The Legacy Foundation at Shell Point Retirement Community is seeking an Executive Director to lead philanthropic efforts that support and enrich the lives of Shell Point residents.
As Executive Director, you will oversee all aspects of fundraising, planned giving, donor engagement, and organizational stewardship. You’ll bring vision and innovation to advance our mission, while building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and professional advisors. What You’ll Do:
- Lead major gift, planned giving, and capital campaign strategies
- Personally engage with donors to support legacy planning and charitable goals
- Oversee resident bill-pay administration and ensure compliance with nonprofit best practices
- Plan and promote events that deepen donor relationships and raise visibility
- Serve as the Foundation’s key ambassador to internal and external audiences
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising or foundation leadership
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
- CFRE preferred; financial or estate planning background a plus
- A commitment to mission-driven work and values-based leadership
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Proficiency in using donor database software to research and manage records
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
