We have a full time opportunity for a qualified candidate to supervise day-to-day activity in the food outlets at The Club at Shell Point. This person will also be required to act as “manager on duty” in the absence of the dining manager. Some duties will include to orient and train new dining staff; interview and hire staff as needed; conduct daily line ups with dining room staff to reinforce dining standards and communicating needed information; receive and greet members and guests and assists with seating in the dining room; prepares work schedules to ensure proper staffing coverage within budgeted guidelines; monitors payroll hours and overtime to ensure they do not exceed scheduled hours; monitors completion of required POS reports, timely revenue records, daily closing checkout reports, and other requested information; addresses customer needs and concerns in a positive and friendly manner working to resolve issues quickly. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a fine dining environment – country club preferred, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers, have knowledge of point of sale systems within a retail or dining environment, and excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel. This person will work varied hours and days, to include opening shifts, closing shifts, and also weekends and holidays.
