Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate who will supervise and coordinate all work tasks of production and dining room staff in one of our three, assisted living facilities’ dining rooms, in order to provide prompt and courteous service to customers while meeting standards of operation in absence of the hospitality services manager. Some duties will include directing the production staff of dining room service duties to ensure quality services; coordinate food and supply needs with the campus’ primary food production center, that they are adequately provided for service at the ALF in a timely manner; complete all required reports in a timely manner; maintain cash handling procedures, and oversee POS and other computer systems; assist in interviewing, orienting and training of hospitality staff; assist in maintaining the department in a clean, neat and organized manner. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience including previous wait staff experience. Must also have strong leadership, organizational, responsiveness and communication skills along with excellent customer and employee relation skills. Experience in Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred.
